Bernice A. Taylor Danko, age 87, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Stephen Danko, passed away on December 11, 2016 in Fairview Health Center of Southport. Bernice a homemaker was born in Bridgeport on June 26, 1929 to the late Albert and Bernice (Donaldson) Taylor and has been a life long area resident. She was an avid artist and enjoyed painting watercolors and oils, and attended art classes at Housatonic Community College. Survivors include her devoted sons, Dave Danko of Stratford and Ronald Danko and his wife Deborah of Brookfield, Wisconsin, granddaughter, Stacey Maddox, and 4 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Mason, Lacey and Jack, several nieces and nephews, and several close friends at Stonybrook Gardens. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Bernice was pre-deceased by her grandson, Christopher Danko, brother, Albert Taylor, and sisters, Helen Augustine, and Jessie Quintana. Friends may greet her family on Friday, August 25 ^th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Inurnment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
