Bernice Ouellette Anunzzi age 98, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Alfred Anunzzi, passed away on January 20, 2018 in Maefair Health Center, Trumbull. Bernice was born on October 22, 1919 in Old Town, Maine to the late Emile and Rose (Duplissis) Ouellette and has been a long time area resident. She was a graduate of Old Town High School, and was a retired operator for Southern New England Telephone Company, with twenty years of service. Bernice was a member of the Baldwin Center, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the U-Conn Huskies. Bernice's family would like to thank Dr. Ben Marsan, and Dr. Arnold Peterson and his staff for their kind and loving care. Also, Social worker Silvana Meloni for her friendship and understanding. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Marchant of Camden, Maine and Lakeland, Florida, loving friends, Christine and Carl Okerblom of Stratford, Virginia Mucci of Florida and Mary Goodwin of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was pre-deceased by her brothers, Clement, Albert, Donald, Robert and Evan Ouellette, and sisters, Lillian Doucette, Francis Ouellette, Thelma Christakos, and Marie St.Germain. Funeral serves will be private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
