Bernard P. (BUTCH) Ogrodowicz, age 63 of Stratford passed away on Tuesday May 4, 2010 in Connecticut Hospice Branford. Butch, a retired self-employed Drywall installer, was born in Bridgeport to the late Bernard and Dorothy (Mushinsky) Ogrodowicz and has been a life long area resident. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Survivors include his beloved children Lisa Ogrodowicz of Stratford, Karrie LaMarche of Pawcatuck, Butch Ogrodowicz of RI and Bill Ogrodowicz of Waterford, his loving companion Jan of Stratford, 5 grandchildren Dean, Ashley, Colby, Nick and Casey, his sister-in-law Debbie Ogrodowicz of Stratford, his aunt Helen Ogrowski of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a brother Ron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 8th at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church 298 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
