Beresford Ronald Grant III, age 52, of Stratford, beloved husband of Alisha Garnett, passed away suddenly on October 25, 2024.

Beresford was born in New York City on March 24, 1972, to Gail Langston Grant and the late Ronald Grant, and had been a Stratford resident for many years. He was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1990, where he was a proud member of the 1988 State Championship Football Team. Bear was an artist who worked in marketing for more than 30 years, most recently at Blue Buffalo Pet Food Co.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 12 years and his mother, include his brothers, Jason and David Grant, his stepdaughter, Amelia Garnett Wall, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed.

Visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. With celebration service at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to come and say farewell.
