Beatrice Rita Tremblay Cravatas, age 88, of Stratford, the widow of John Cravatas, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, September 07, 2013. Beatrice, a retired secretary for Harold Graphics of Stratford, was born in Fairfield to the late Eugene and Annie Tremblay. She was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and after graduation worked at the Bridgeport Brass Company, where she eventually met her late husband John. After living in Miami, FL and Rochester, NY they settled in Stratford, where she lived since 1955. Beside her strong faith in the church, she dearly loved her family. Survivors include her devoted sons Charles Cravatas of Stratford and Eugene Cravatas and his wife Jennifer, grandson James and granddaughter LaToya all of Bridgeport, a sister Lois of Milford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by brothers Jack, Edward, and Gene and sisters Virginia and Kathryn. "We will miss you Mom, God Bless". Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 11th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
