Barry Robert Peterson, age 70 of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Sandra Peterson, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2022, in his home with his loving family by his side.

Barry was born in Bridgeport to the late Henry and Elizabeth Sedelnik Peterson.  Barry worked as a plumber at Ashcroft Inc in Stratford for 44 years before retiring in 2014.  Barry was a kind and caring husband and a loving grandfather.

He is survived by his stepson, Harry Therien Jr. and his wife Mary of Stratford, granddaughters, Lauren Paz (Matthew) of Shelton and Jennifer Dalling (Trevor) of Monroe, and a great granddaughter, Hailey Dalling.  Barry was predeceased by his brother, Eric Peterson, brother-in-law, Lee Langevin, and a nephew, Brian Langevin.  He is -also survived by his sister, Patricia Langevin, niece, Lisa Rogers (Matthieu) and nephew, Christopher Langevin.

A prayer service will be held for both Barry and Sandy on Thursday March 24 ^th at 10 am in The Adzima Funeral Home, Stratford. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Stratford.
