Barbara J. Spittle Mulholland, age 87, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Everett Mulholland, passed away on October 9, 2018 in Maefair Health Center, Trumbull. Barbara was born on May 5, 1931 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to the late Fred and Ann (Cabey) Spittle and had lived in Otis, Massachusetts for many years, before returning to Stratford. She was a member of the Baldwin Center, and above all else, was an adoring grandmother to her devoted grandchildren. Survivors include her beloved children, Wendy Jennings (Ray Yatsinko) of Stratford, Penny Jeffers of North Carolina; William Hart (Serina Vitalie) of California, a brother, Fred Spittle (Cheryl) of Pennsylvania, 18 cherished grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was pre-deceased by her son, Vance Hart and daughter, Tracee Marcho, sisters, Diane, Lorraine, and Jackie, and a brother, Teddy. Friends may greet her family on Friday, October 12 ^th from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
