Barbara Kepchar, age 77 of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday July 26 2007 in the Golden Hill Nursing Home in Milford. Married to Peter Kepchar Jr., Barbara was born in Bridgeport to the late Peter and Margaret Gomori Hatrick and was a lifelong area resident. Barbara was employed as a caretaker at the Stonehaven Rest Home in Bridgeport, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Columbettes, enjoyed crocheting and crafts, playing bingo and especially loved her time with her beloved grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by sons Robert Kepchar and his wife Jennifer, Peter Kepchar lll and his wife Petra, daughter Sandee Arszyla and her husband Tom, and her special nieces Linda Bacharach and her husband Charlie, and Kristi Federici; her precious grandchildren, Jackie Arszyla and her fiance Phil Norris, Wesley Arszyla and friend Dorina, Lauren, Hayley, Shelby and Anya Kepchar. Also her precious little great grandson Jordan Norris; great niece Alex and great nephew Kyle. Barbara is also survived by five brothers, John, Ernie, Joseph and his wife Joan, James and his wife Judy and Michael Hatrick, five sisters, Margaret Zielinski, Joyce Petro, Arlene Pacevic, Sandra Sherwood and her husband Stephen, her special "sister" Doreen Federici and her baby sister Linda Lou "eyes of blue" Chmielewski and her husband Kenneth and several nieces and nephews and many in-laws. Brothers George and Peter Hatrick Jr. and sister Elisa Sebjar predeceased her. The family would like to invite friends to a Memorial Service on Wednesday August 1, 2007 at 11:00am in the Trinity Baptist Church, 300 North Benson Rd. Fairfield.
