Barbara J. Imbro, age 89, of Stratford, the beloved widow of Robert J. Imbro, passed away on February 3, 2022, in River Glen Health Care Center, Southbury.

Born in Bridgeport, on August 16, 1932, to the late John and Ethel (Lucas) Fabula, she has been a lifelong area resident. Barbara will be remembered as a loving mother. She loved hosting luncheons for family and friends and was a compassionate caregiver to many. Her strength and unwavering faith carried her through difficult times and was an inspiration to all.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Loretta Arcuri and her husband Albert of Oxford, sister-in-law, Barbara Fabula and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Robert, she is predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Carl Hubbell, brothers, Richard and Thomas Fabula and a nephew, John Fabula.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Barbara's life, on Tuesday, February 15 ^th from 10-11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. MASKS are required.  A Prayer service will be at 11AM, with inurnment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
