Barbara Ann Brady, age 82, of Shelton, Connecticut, formerly of Stratham, New Hampshire, the beloved widow of Earl J. Brady, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Griffin Hospital, Derby, CT. Born in New Britain, CT to the late John T. and Emma (Briere) McNamara, Barbara lived in Stratford, CT until moving to Stratham, NH. Survivors include her devoted children, Maureen Doherty and her husband Peter of Stratford, CT and Michael Brady of Boston, MA, a daughter-in-law Mary Brady, her 4 beloved grandchildren, Peter Doherty and his wife Amy Allen, Ryan Doherty and his fiancé Ashley Saari, James Brady and Emma Brady, sisters, Eleanor Martin of Newington, CT, Maureen Tardif and her husband Bernie of Salem, CT and Rosemary Boccaccio and her husband John of Newington, CT, a brother-in-law Mike Brady and his wife Terry of East Hampton, CT, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her twin sons James and John Brady and granddaughter Stacy Brady. Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 9:30AM in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT and at 10AM in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT, with a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Birendra Soreng Officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 28th in the Earl Howard Cemetery in Richmond, NH. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 8 – 9:30AM.
