Aurea I. Jaramillo, age 84, of Bridgeport, the beloved widow of Guillermo Jaramillo, died Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in her home with all her loved ones.

Born on April 10, 1941 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to the late Santo Cruz Rosario and Isabel Berrios. Aurea has been a longtime Bridgeport resident and retired from Salem Family Day Care where she was an Educational Aide.

Survivors include her devoted children, Eloy Jaramillo, Wendy Jaramillo and Catherine Escobar; her grandchildren, Michael Marcial Osorio, Natalie Gina Cipriano, Christina Marie Garcia, Justin Matthew Escobar, Amy Michelle Escobar and Johnathan Eloy Jaramillo; and her great-grandchildren Emmett Erwin Osorio and Eliana Grace Garcia.

Friends and family may call on Sunday July 20th from 3-6 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, with prayers at 5:30 pm.

Family and friends are invited for a final visitation Monday July 21st, starting at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 11:45 AM in Lawncroft Cemetery Fairfield.
