Augustine J. "Gus" Jarosko, age 83 of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by family. Born in Bridgeport on December 25, 1941 to the late Augustine and Margaret Dolyak Jarosko, he has remained a lifelong Bridgeport resident.

Gus was a retired teacher for the Milford Board of Education. In addition to his parents Gus was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Jarosko in 2006. He is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and his devoted friend Bob Antonio.

Visitation will be on Saturday April 5th from 8:30-9:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Monroe.
