Arthur W. May, age 75, of Stratford, beloved husband of Leona Leto May, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2025.

Art was born in Bridgeport on September 16, 1949, to the late Arthur and Evelyn (Harday) May and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1967 and earned his bachelor's degree and his MBA from the University of New Haven. Art was a retired chauffeur for Hy's Limousine Company. He was a life member of the East End Yacht Club and was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, with 20 years of service.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 51 years, include his devoted son, Sean May, cherished grandchildren, Leah and Patrick and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Art was pre-deceased by his sister, Arlene O'Leary.

Visitation on Wednesday, June 4th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 5, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Peace Church 651 Stratford Road Lordship. Interment will be private.
