Arthur A. Hermanson, age 92, of Stratford, beloved husband of Cynthia Persson Hermanson, passed away on January 4, 2021 in his home.

Arthur was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 29, 1928 to the late Arthur J. and Margaret (Dahlin) Hermanson and had been a longtime area resident.

He was a U. S.  Army veteran and earned a BS from the University of Bridgeport. Arthur was retired from Metropolitan Life where he worked in insurance sales, for over thirty-five years.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 66 years, include his devoted children, Mark Hermanson and his fiancée Dawn, and Jill Hermanson Sapak, 4 grandchildren, Brian Hermanson (Kristina), Tyler Hermanson (Chantel), TJ Sapak (Christie) and Shane Sapak, 3 great-grandchildren, Brody, Briggs, and Eloise.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was pre-deceased by a brother, Norman.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
