Arline "Awesome" Gertrude Lanigan Moran, age 69, of Shelton, passed away on Friday, June 22 ^nd 2018. Ariine was born in Bridgeport on March 20, 1949 to the late Harvey and Arline Lanigan (Raymond) and has been a life long area resident. She was very happy woman, always smiling and everything was just "Awesome". Arilne loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed singing, her game shows and spending time with her family during the holidays and special occassions. Survivors include her 2 devoted children, Christopher Cargnel and Troy Joseph Baransky along with her 2 siblings, brother, Richard James Lanigan (wife Jackie) and sister, Rita Ellen Lanigan. Mima cherished her 2 grandchildren, Christian J and Devan Rae Cargnel along with her 5 nieces and 1 nephew (Kathy, Colleen, Kelly, Denise, Tracy & Eddie). A very special thank you to Carolyn S. Cutaneo for all her love and support throughout Arline's life as well. The Cargnel family would like to thank the staff of Hewitt Health & Rehab in Shelton for all their years of kind and loving care. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 29 ^th at Saint Joseph Church in Shelton CT. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton, CT.
