Arline C. Brady age 92, beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Brady died peacefully on Tuesday January 19th surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City on January 10, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Grace and James Hood. A resident of Stratford since 2004, she had previously resided in Florida, Southport, Westchester, and Munich Germany. She was a former model, fashion designer, and homemaker. A devoted and religious person she gave many hours volunteering at various nursing homes and supporting her favorite charities. Survivors include her devoted children Kathleen Whiting and her husband Jay of Wausau Wisconsin, Marianne (Mimi) Nelsen and her husband Peter from Stratford, Thomas F. Brady of Westport, Brian G. Brady of Coventry, and Kevin J. Brady of Dogsboro, Delaware. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 23, 2010 at 10am at ST. Marks Church, 555 Wigwam Lane in Stratford, CT.
