Anthony C. Paolello, age 94, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Jean Spodnick Paolello, passed away on November 19, 2024.

Anthony was born in Bridgeport on August 21, 1930, to the late Benjamin and Rosemary (DeCilla) Paolello and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a retired driver for the U.S. Postal Service and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and anything else "New York". Anthony enjoyed Italian meals and desserts, and adored Marilyn Monroe and above all else, family.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 71 years, include his devoted children, Barbara Paolello of Shelton, Susan Mott of Ansonia, Rosemary McCarthy and her husband Richard of Shelton, and Nancy Wheeler and her husband Keith of Shelton, 11 cherished grandchildren, Marianne (Shaun) Cox, Gina Mott, Paul (Debbie) Mott, Kevin Mott, David Mott, Crystal Mott, Richard McCarthy IV, Steven McCarthy, Xavier (Xander) Wheeler, Sara Wheeler, and Melissa (Michael) Wheeler, 5 great-grandchildren, Noah, Isabella, Grayson, Emilia, and Calum, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by loving nephew and partner in crime Jeff Smith and his wife Nancy.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was pre-deceased by his son, Anthony, and siblings, Lucy, Florence, Lilly, Michael and Nicholas.

Visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 27th at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Margaret Mary Church 50 Donovan Lane Shelton. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
