Rarely can one say that a person departs from this earth leaving a happy life behind them. On March 24, 2007, Anthony T. Bratchell Jr., 54 of West Palm Beach, Florida did just that. While his death was sudden and tragic, his life was happy and complete. Tony had a sarcastic whit. He enjoyed laughter and always knew how to bring it out in people, especially his family. A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; he always worked hard to insure that his family was provided for. Throughout his career Tony was an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft and the West Palm Beach County Airport. He was an avid golfer, music lover and football fan. His memory will live on through his beloved wife Lisa, his cherished children Tina, Lisa, Philip, and Nicole, as well as his grandchildren Brian and Gianna. In addition, he was survived by his loyal siblings,Thomas and his wife Jacqueline, Patrick and his wife Debbie, Sandralee and her husband Charles, Joseph and his wife Dorothy, Tina and her husband Pat and Dennis and his wife Millie. Tony was also survived by several nieces, nephews and a special niece and goddaughter Samantha. Anthony also leaves behind his loving in-laws Frank and Bertha, brother-in-law Frank Jr. and wife, Karen, as well as his loyal pet Guida. Tony is pre-deceased by his parents Anthony and Mary Bratchell. To say that he will be fondly missed would be an understatement—instead we can say with heavy hearts and smiling faces, he will be remembered always. Funeral services will take place on Saturday March 31st at 10 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Monsignor William Schultz officiating. Entombment will be in St. Michael's Garden Mausoleum Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
