Anne L. Gajda, 88, died at the Lakewood Quarters Assisted Living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, October 24th. Mrs. Gajda was born in Bridgeport on May 23, 1917 and lived in Connecticut until she moved to Baton Rouge 4 years ago. She worked for Dresser Industries for over 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Gajda was also a founding member of St. Mark Church in Stratford She is survived by her son John and his wife Ildiko Gajda of Baton Rouge; a grandson Peter Gajda of Columbus, Ohio; a granddaughter Christina and her husband John Pereira of Marietta, Georgia and two great-granddaughters Catherine and Annmarie Pereira; a brother Barney Tarinelli of Windsor, Vt and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John and her brothers Palmer, Joseph and John Tarinelli. A memorial mass will be held at St. Marks Church in Stratford on Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 AM. A private graveside service will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery and she will be buried next to husband John. Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford is handling arrangements.
