Anna Hodanick Worozilcak, age 92 of Shelton, formerly of Trumbull, the widow of John Worozilcak, passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Worozilcak, a retired employee of Dresser Industries was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Dmitri and Anna (Szabolczyk) Hodanick and has been a long time area resident. She was a member of the Mother's and Daughter's Club and Seniors of St. John's Church, and was an avid gardener, bowler and loved to travel. Anna was very happy living at Crosby Commons and enjoyed being part of their Activity Club, and will be dearly missed by all of her friends there. Survivors include her devoted children John Worozilcak and his wife Denise of Milford, and Janice Masse of Easton, 6 grandchildren Carolyn Matthes, Lisa Mc Calpin, Allison Vonick, Kristen Finnegan, Scott Worzel and Michelle Tierney, several beloved great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Margaret Skotlewski and Madeline Hodanick both of Scranton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her daughter Elaine Minutola, and 2 brothers John and Joseph Hodanick. Funeral services will take place on Saturday May 15th at 10 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
