Anna Orczyk Wierzbicki, age 84 of Stratford passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Anna, a homemaker was born in Zawadka, Poland to the late Francis and Wiktoria Orczyk and has been a long time Stratford resident. She was talented seamstress, proud of her Polish heritage and grateful to be able to share in the blessings of the American dream. Survivors include her 3 beloved children Waldemar Z. Wierzbicki of Montpelier Vermont, Teresa Wierzbicki Roehrich and her husband Carl of Huntington, and Mark S. Wierzbicki and his wife Lisa D'Aiuto Wierzbicki of Stratford, 8 cherished grandchildren Timothy Padilla Wierzbicki, Israel Padilla Wierzbicki, Tanya Padilla Wierzbicki, Carl F. Roehrich, II, Carla A. Roehrich, Victoria C. Roehrich, Robert S. Roehrich, and Joseph S. Wierzbicki, 2 sisters in England Mrs. Stefania Wolanska and Mrs. Maria Holownia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday October 20th at 9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church in Lordship for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30-9: 30 a.m.
