Anna L. Olah, age 98, of Stratford, the beloved widow of Joseph Olah, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Toronto, Ohio to the late George and Susanna (Kostovchik) Lahita, she has been a long time area resident. Anna was retired from Remington Rand where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of St Joseph #19 1 ^st Catholic Union, Sts Cyril and Methodius Ladies Guild, and the Stratford Baldwin Senior Center. She was a very active person who was full of life and enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, sewing, crocheting and most of all baking. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Mayernick, brothers, George, John, Michael and Joseph Lahita and her sister Mary Jakub. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
