Anna Polascik Nosevich, age 80, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital. Anna was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Anna (Kisela) Polascik and has been a life-long area resident. She was a retired secretary for Sippin Brothers Energy in Monroe. She was a communicant of the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, where she was very active in the Seniors and the baking of all the ethnic foods. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Diane Petzold and her husband David of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and a sister, Susan Babey, and her husband Michael of Trumbull, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will take place on **NOTICE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER FUNERAL WILL TAKE PLACE THURSDAY, March 8, 2018 at 10:45 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11:30 a.m . in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Panchida will be at 4:30 pm.
