Anna Dolyak Kaplan, age 98, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Bernard Kaplan, passed away on October 23, 2024, in her home, with her children by her side.

Anna was born in Bridgeport on April 23, 1926, to the late Nicholas and Anna (Strich) Dolyak and had been a lifelong area resident. She worked for a short time at The General Electric Company, before leaving to start her family. Anna was a lifetime member of St. John's Orthodox Church in Bridgeport.

Survivors include her devoted children, Thomas Kaplan and his wife Cindy, Maureen Kubik and her husband Joe and Beverly Kaplan all of Stratford, 3 cherished grandsons, Thomas Kaplan (Nestor), Chris Kaplan (Samantha) and Adam Kaplan (Krista), 7 adored great-grandchildren, Sienna, Mia, Kayla, Adam, Luca, Juan, Izzy, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Anna was pre-deceased by her brothers, Michael, Andrew, Nicholas, John and Stephen.

Visitation on Saturday, October 26th, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.

A Requiem Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist, 364 Mill Hill Avenue Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
