Anna D. Chmura, 92, of Trumbull, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Joseph J.  Chmura. Anna spent many years working for the town of Trumbull as an Assistant Registrar of Voters, and previously at General Electric. Anna was happiest when she was on the dance floor, listening to music or celebrating with a good old-fashioned Polish Polka. A devoted mom, grandma and great-grandma, Anna's biggest delight in life was knowing that her family was happy and healthy. The arrival of her three great-grandchildren gave her such pride and indescribable joy. She shared her love of those around her with an endless supply of chicken soup and stuffed cabbage and never let anyone leave her house hungry. Anna is survived by her son, Wayne Chmura and his wife Donna and her daughter, Joann Chmura. Anna is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Carosielli III, Victoria Woodard and her husband Thomas, Christopher Chmura and his wife Kendra, Jason Chmura and his wife Allison, Nicholas Chmura and his fiancé Megan. Anna was a loving and cherished "GG" to her three great grandchildren, Mackenzie (3) and Spencer Chmura (1) and Caleb Woodard (2.5). Anna was adored by her many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Jewish Family Services in Bridgeport for their wonderful care and support over the past 10 months. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 13 ^th at 11 a.m. meeting directly at St. Theresa Church 5301 Main St Trumbull. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to the Center for Family Justice at https://centerforfamilyjustice.org/
