Ann Demchak Vayser, age 90, of Stratford, the widow of Joseph H. Vayser Jr., passed away on Tuesday April 10, 2012 in Milford Health Center. Mrs. Vayser, a retired secretary for the Bridgeport Brass Company, was born in Bridgeport to the late George and Helen (Kosch) Demchak, and has been a life long area resident. She was a member of the Seniors of St. John's Church. Survivors include her brother Michael Demchak and his wife Mary of Bridgeport, 3 sisters-in-law Eleanor Demchak, Dorothy D'Mato and her husband Michael, and Nora Vayser, all of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Joseph and parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother George Demchak, and sisters Mary Shomsky and Helen Karaffa. Her family would like to thank the staff of Milford HCC for their kind and loving care. Funeral services will take place on Thursday April 12th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Thursday from 9:30 –10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Ann's memory to St. John's Chruch.
