Ann Elias Mercurio age 95 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Ann, originally from Stratford, was one of 14 children born to Michael & Helen Elias. She was a long-time resident of Fairfield having lived in her home for over 60 years before enjoying her last years at Sunrise of Fairfield.  She is survived by her adoring son, Douglas Mercurio and his partner Michelle Falis, her daughter, Donna Davis of Cape Coral FL, 2 granddaughters, Tanya Herring (Dale Malcolm) and Stacy Herring, one great grandson, Gus Malcolm and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her 13 siblings – John, Michael, Jerse, Rudy, Steve, Bill, Paul, Mary, Millie, Ceil & Rita Elias, Veronica Benichak and Helen Maher, 2 sons-in-law, Gus Herring and Ian Davis and her grandson, Mark Herring.

At Ann's request, there will be no visiting hours, however you are invited to join her family for her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Family Church 700 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.

The Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
