Anita H. Newbauer, age 97, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Eugene Newbauer, passed away on May 29, 2025, in her home.

Anita was born in Germany on October 19, 1927, to the late Eugen and Else (Balkhaus) Evertz, and had been a longtime area resident. Survivors include her devoted children, Lisa Newbauer-Krieger and her husband Brian and Karl Newbauer all of Stratford, and 2 cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Nicole Krieger.

Visitation on Wednesday, June 4th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with a prayer service at11 a.m. Entombment will follow in MT. St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby.
