Andrew R. Kovach, age 68, of Plantsville, Connecticut passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at West Haven VA Medical Center. Andrew, a U.S. Marine Corp veteran, serving in Viet Nam was born in Bridgeport on August 16, 1949, beloved son of the late Andrew and Jessie (Fant) Kovach, and has been a life long Connecticut resident. He was an avid baseball fan, and enjoyed cheering on the New York Yankees and collecting baseball cards. Survivors include his devoted sisters, Barbara Chavenne and her husband John of California, and Judith Craven and her husband Dr. Raymond Craven of Amston, CT, nieces and nephews, Judith Milan, Christine Kenney, Andrew Monteith, and Heather Fiorillo. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 7 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
