Andrew E. "Andy" Palo Jr, age 55, of Trumbull, the beloved husband of Raelinda Fernandez Palo, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Bridgeport Hospital, after a 7-month courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Bridgeport on June 7, 1967, to the late Andrew E. and Mary (Samoskevich) Palo Sr. He was a life-long area resident. Andy graduated from St. Joseph High School class of 1985, received his bachelor's degree in Finance from Sacred Heart University and a master's degree in Financial Management from Fairfield University. He was an Investment Accountant for National Life Group in Mountpelier, VT. Previously he worked for the Diocese of Bridgeport, The Knights of Columbus and PartnerRe Insurance.

He was very active in the town of Trumbull, serving as the Vice Chairman of the Water Pollution Control Authority.  Previously Andy served on the Board of Education and was elected to the Board of Finance. Andy was honored to be a member of the finance committee of the Seton Heritage Ministry, National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council #8882.   He had a deep passion for his faith, his family, and serving his community. His favorite pastimes were attending his children's sporting events, watching his favorite teams and spending time with friends and family. His smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Survivors, in addition to his beloved wife of 24 years, include his cherished children, Andrew and Alexa, a sister Carole Bohn of Stratford and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 18 ^th from 9-11AM in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon is St. Stephen Church, 7948 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will be private.
