Anastasia Kraftchick Fleisch, of West Haven, was called home by the Lord on July 1, 2014. "Annie" was born July 13, 1952 and grew up in Bridgeport, and was well versed on the history of the city. Annie is survived by her devoted son, Joshua, sister, Fern Chowanec, and brother, Walter Kraftchick, nephews, Anthony and Nicky. She was pre-deceased by her parents Anthony and Mary Kraftchick. Annie worked at AVCO for many years, before finding her true calling in life, at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull. Her infectious smile, outgoing personality and her genuine love for people were a perfect match. She enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with her many friends. Joshua would like to thank her friends, Donna, Myrtle, George and Sue, Renee and Anita of the 2nd floor at St. Joe's and countless others. Friends may greet her family on Monday, July 7th from 4-6 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. All other services will be private.
