Alexander Kranyak Jr, age 81, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Paula Kosh Kranyak passed away on January 1, 2025, in his home. Al, a retired firefighter for the Town of Stratford, was born on May 30, 1943, in Bridgeport to the late Alexander and Viola (Kuhta) Kranyak and has been a Stratford resident for 75 years.

Survivors include his loving wife Paula, a brother, Michael Kranyak and his wife Diane of South Carolina, his extended family, Ronald and Amy Kosh, James, Shannon, Evan and Nico Lombardo of Rye Brook, NY. Private funeral services took place on Friday, January 10, 2025, in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
