A lifelong Stratford resident. Alexander F. Grosso passed into eternal rest on September 19, 2007. He was devoted to his parents, Dora and Paul Grosso of Stratford; his brother, Michael Grosso and wife Kathy Grosso of Manchester; his sister Ann Grosso Arnold and her husband Ray Arnold of Milford. "Uncle Alex" adored his niece and nephew, Lena and Raymond Arnold more than anyone else in this world. After spending 29 years working for Mobil Chemical in Stratford, Alex was semi-retired for the past two years, giving him time to enjoy gardening, traveling and playing with "his" kids. A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. As much as he loved flowers, Alex would prefer that if you choose to show your support for him and his family, you make a donation to the American Diabetes Association or your favorite charity.
