Obituary

Alexander Fabian, age 86 of Stratford passed away on Sunday January 15, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Fabian, a WW # II Veteran of the U.S. Army where he was a prisoner of war in Germany, was born in Dickson City, PA to the late Alexander and Helen Fabian and has been a long time area resident. He was a retired serviceman for the Connecticut Light and Power Company, and was a member of the D.A.V Chapter # 20, V.F.W. Post #9460, St. John's Lodge # 8 AF & AM the Orthodox Square Club and the Holy Ghost Seniors. Survivors include his beloved wife Olga Moskwa Fabian, his devoted son Robert Fabian and his wife Kristina of Plantation, Florida, 2 grandsons Alexander and Joshua Fabian and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 4 brothers John, Joseph, Emery and Louis Fabian and 4 sisters Julia Markovich, Sophie Navrocki, Lillian Milkovich and Mary Supinis. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday January 18th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday (Today) from 3-7 p.m. Panachida at 6 p.m.
