Albert J. Gabor, age 85, Trumbull, a retired Engineer with Sikorsky Aircraft, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Anna (Sovich) Gabor Sr., he has been a Trumbull resident the last 50 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and is a member of America-St John's #8 A.F. & A.M. in Stratford. Albert is survived by his beloved daughters, Lynn Therriault and her husband John, and Lisa Farasciano and her husband Vincent all of Trumbull, his cherished grandchildren, John and Meghan Therriault, Matthew and Madison Farasciano, a sister Helen Chernak of Stratford, several nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by a sister Anna Myer and brothers Michael Gabor Jr and George Gabor. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 9:15am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Panachida at 4:30 p.m. A Masonic Service will take place at 7PM.
