Agnes Anna Shypula, age 75, of Shelton, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on December 4, 1949 to the late Michael and Agnes Plavnicky Shypula and has been a lifelong area resident. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Michael and sister, Kathryn Richardson. Survivors include her nieces, Kara, Alison, Dana and Kristen Shypula and Mary Holdsworth. Anna spent her long working career at Sikorsky Aircraft where she held a variety of positions. She loved all animals and cared for many dogs in her home over her lifetime, most recently Lucy. A prayer service with the Very Reverend David Cochran officiating will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Stratford
