Agnes Dorothy Kubica, age 92, formerly of Stratford, passed away in the Manchester Manor in Manchester, CT on Friday, January 6, 2012. Agnes the widow of Anthony Kubica was born in Bridgeport to the late Andrew and Susan (Safian) Imbro and has been a life long area resident until moving to the Arbors in Manchester a couple of years ago. Survivors include her beloved sons Anthony Kubica and his wife Edith of Warwick, RI and Richard Kubica and his wife Karen of Glastonbury, CT; 5 grandchildren Neysa Gervais and her husband Bob, Jeremy Kubica and his wife Regan, Robert Kubica and his wife Hannah, Michael Kubica and his Fiancé Kendra and Laura Kubica and her boyfriend Ken; 3 great-grandchildren Molly Gervais, Nathan and Julie Kubica; 2 sisters Helen Guman of Delaware and Margaret Imbro of Stratford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Andrew, John, Michael and George Imbro and a sister Mary Imbro. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 9:30am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church 407 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. The family would like to thank the staff and physicians of the Cardiology unit at Hartford Hospital for the compassionate care that they provided Agnes.
