Adam Scott Hidu, age 30, of Stratford, beloved son of Tim and Dale (Myer) Hidu, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport on June 1, 2021.

Adam was born in Norwalk on January 25, 1991 and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School class of 2009 and earned a certificate in advanced manufacturing from Housatonic Community College. Adam was an inspector for Microboard Processing, Inc. He was a maker, talented cook, gaming enthusiast and true friend.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his devoted siblings, Timothy Hidu and his wife Susy, and Megan Hallama and her husband, DJ, nieces, Kaylee, and Zoe, and nephew, Alexander, paternal grandmother, Ellouise McDonald, and maternal grandfather, Fred Myer, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his faithful dog Hazel. Adam was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather, Benjamin Hidu, and maternal grandmother, Betty Myer.

A walk-through visitation period will be held on Tuesday, June 8 ^th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Guests are asked to wear face masks and socially distance as they enter the building, pay their respects, and exit in order to allow others the same opportunity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 9 ^th at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
