A. Charles Prezioso, age 89, of Stratford, long-time companion of Erminia Lia, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Charlie often told Erminia a favorite story from his childhood, when his love of carpentry began with the construction of small planes.  He promised his mother that when he grew up he would make a big plane and take her to Italy.  His time spent in Italy with Erminia was among the most enjoyable of his life.  Charlie is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Rahrig (Frank) of Middlebury and Linda Broadhurst (Victor) of Bridgeport; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 1st at 11AM in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford.  Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.  The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
