James A. Teevin, age 82, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Joan Trede (Radozycki) Teevin, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2012 in his home. Mr. Teevin, a retired Plant Manager for the Burndy Corporation, was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James and Ellen Teevin, and has been a long time area resident. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife include his devoted children Mary Ellen DeTeresa and her husband John of NY, Nancy Burke and her husband Martin of NJ, Cindy Grant of FL, and Jim Teevin and his wife Teri, of FL,2 step-daughters Josephine Robbins of ME, and Jina Radozycki of VA, 5 cherished grandchildren, a brother John Teevin and his wife Pat of CO, a sister Geraldine Pukowsky and her husband Myron of NJ, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his first wife Mary, and a sister Helen Rysak. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 8th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Jim’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation 1463 Highland Ave Cheshire, CT 06410 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942
