Helen Saranich Jerzyk, age 90 of Stratford the beloved widow of Theodore Jerzyk, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Taylor, Pennsylvania to the late John and Helen (Kachmar) Saranich, she has been a longtime Stratford resident. Helen was a retired librarian for the U.S. Naval Department and NABPRO. Survivors include her beloved children, Richard Jerzyk and his wife Genevieve of Pittsburg, PA and Janet Jerzyk of Stratford, 3 cherished grandchildren, Christina Jerzyk, Stephen Jerzyk and his wife Melinda and Bethany Jerzyk, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 9:30 AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30AM in St. James Church Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery Monroe. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
