Rose Marie McLaughlin Gulash, age 83, of Stratford, the widow of Frank S. Gulash, passed away on, Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Golden Hill HCC, Milford. Mrs. Gulash, a retired Deli Clerk at Stop and Shop in Stratford, was born in Bridgeport to the late Stephen and Catherine (Smith) McLaughlin, and has been a life long area resident. She was also a former Crossing Guard at Waltersville School in Bridgeport. Survivors include her devoted son Paul Gulash and his wife Regina of Shelton, daughter-in-law Lee Gulash of Stratford, 5 cherished grandchildren Laura and LeeAnn Gulash, Lindsay Branscombe, David and Stephanie Gulash, a brother Richard McLaughlin and his wife Ruth of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was also pre-deceased by her son Frank. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 6th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with Rev. Bruce Roby officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to the Shelton Special Olympics in memory of Rose. .
