Mary M. Hornak, age 98, of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in her home. Miss Hornak, a retired assembler for the General Electric Company, was born in Bridgeport to the late Gregor and Veronica (Knut) Hornak, and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her nieces Rosemary Scapellati and her husband Peter, and Patricia Horvath and her husband Gary, great-nephew Joseph Horvath, great nieces Christine Horvath, and Jennifer Scapellati, great-great nephews Gregory and Daniel and great-great niece Olivia, and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment were private, and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
